Job Description Summary:
The Project Accountant and Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Airports project build team regarding capital spend tracking, payments, and reconciliation of invoices vs purchase orders vs budget. In addition, this role will provide exceptional administrative and project management support. This position will have a strong dotted line working relationship with the finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organization of project related financial details (spend and forecast), design and construction plan budgets, invoicing, and billing
  • Liaison and support to project manager related to capital forecasting to budget, spend calculation, build phasing and related timeline, actuals vs PO/Cos outstanding
  • Identify key variance drivers and determine delay cost in terms of lost revenue opportunity.  Report findings to project and finance teams.
  • Support invoice to PO reconciliation within ProCore which will provide increased visibility of outstanding amounts and improved forecasting
  • Support capital audit process required by most airports’ partners. 
  • Provide recommendation to project managers of capital forecast spend monthly, based on Budget phases, build timeline, actuals vs POs outstanding.  Will work directly with Finance and Project management teams
  • Provide in-service dates to Fixed Asset team to improve Construction in Progress management and timely asset recognition/depreciation schedules
  • Support/oversight of individual bid proposals/PO’s/CO’s for the project and set-up by project and contractor for tracking and audit
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly financial detail preparation and reporting
  • Organize and manage database of contractor related documentation, MSA’s, COI’s, plans, drawing packages, airport drawings and details, Company Data, Commitments, etc.
  • Scheduling and administration of project meeting agendas and minutes, distribution, updates, breakouts
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
