Located in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, Tris has an immediate opening for a temporary or permanent Brand Revenue Accountant

SUMMARY:

The Brand Revenue Accountant provides operational support to the Finance team by leading the Brand Gross to Net function and assisting with timely and accurate maintenance and completion of financial closing activities in accordance, and in compliance, with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Qualified candidate assists with sales reporting, gross to net analysis and other general and/or daily Finance activities including, but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, etc., in order to support department operations and analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead the Brand gross-to-net financial close process including but not limited to rate calculations, reserve adjustments and other financial analysis. Perform analysis of sales, returns, Medicaid data, Managed Care data, chargebacks, wholesaler inventories and other data to ensure accuracy and appropriate reserves.
• Prepare and post month end accrual entries.
• Collaborates with commercial operations and other key stake holders on various aspects of Brand Revenue reporting (e.g., weekly & monthly sales reports)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Brand Revenue schedules such as net sales reports to facilitate Financial Reporting
• Reconcile Brand Fee for Service invoices, coordinate approval and credit memo issuance
• Coordinate approval of Commercial invoices and payment processing
• Assists department with mandatory government reporting including, but not limited to government pricing, etc., as needed.
• Work with external auditors to provide required schedules and support, for the interim and annual audit
• Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Support improvement of internal controls and efforts to automate and streamline processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the Company's Financials.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years experience in Brand gross to net sales analysis OR Brand revenue accounting. REQUIRED
• Excellent working knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, methods and analysis and reporting of financial data REQUIRED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including excellent Excel skills) REQUIRED
• Experience using GTN software PREFERRED
• Advance Excel Skills REQUIRED
