Your Job

The engineering manager plans, organizes, and directs design engineering team to meet company objectives for design, new product development and new manufacturing technologies of busbar and busbar related products. Responsible for developing the core team and leading transformation initiatives within the group.


What You Will Do

  • Front-end DFM services with Molex sales and our customers on new busbar designs and projects. Provide value to our customers on design recommendations driven by improvements in manufacturability, quality and cost.
  • Collaborates with manufacturing teams to drives improvements
  • Ensures on time completion of the complete contract review process.
  • Establishes tooling quotation for new product, revised products, and process improvements.
  • Helps prioritize and clarify projects to improve timely completion of design reviews, new project documentation and quotation build out.
  • This role will be involved both directly in project level work and supervising a team of engineers.
  • Coordinate and lead engineering efforts to ensure projects meet customer and manufacturing requirements.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 4-6+ years of relevant experience with Busbars
  • Experience with Product development.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master's degree.
  • Seven to 10 years' related experience or training.
  • Specific experience with Busbar
  • Experience using Siemens NX
  • Experience with thermal simulations.
  • Experience utilizing SAP.
  • This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Fulfilling the supervisor responsibilities requires a large focus on mentoring and coaching the team with a focus on driving self actualization.
